My Approach to Astrology

Astrology is the systematic study of the correlation between planetary movement and human experience.

I’m a contemporary astrologer with a traditional bent, blending the modern archetypal and psychological disciplines with the Hellenistic tradition. While I do use the outer planets (Neptune, Uranus, Pluto, and sometimes Chiron), I do not give them rulership over signs — I treat them like fast-moving fixed stars. I use a mixture of ancient techniques like Circumambulations Through the Bounds (my primary timing tool) and Annual Profections, alongside modern techniques like Secondary Progressions and real-time transits. This blend gives you the symbolic richness of contemporary astrology coupled with the precision and practicality of our astrological ancestors.
